Icarus only publishes Japanese imports. I wish there were American hentai publishers that published domestic and non-Japanese hentai. DriveThrough isn't bad but I really want my work in a print.
I read somewhere that Lulu allowed hentai, however when I began to publish there I read over the submission agreement just to make sure and they say "no obscene, pornographic". This is annoying because if you search hentai or porn you get many results... also in the hentai forum someone had mentioned them. I just emailed them asking. I asked if I could publish my work as long as I keep it under direct access or if this is too much, just keep it private and sell it through myself. Apparently every state has a different law on porn? How stupid is this? Why doesn't the country have a law, that way we can end this bullshit!?
Blobby is almost finished. I have 4 pages to go which is why I'm writing this. I was frustrated because I thought I had a place to print and now I don't. Maybe I'll try ebooks myself through paypal or something. I could print myself but then I'd need a $500+ laser printer which I'm having trouble finding. I'd rather find one that prints 11x14 but they all stop at 8.5 width!!! How STUPID! "Yes I want a larger printer that only still stays at 8.5 and couldn't possibly want something wider." So now I have to print out the pages one by one and bind them together at the edge. I'd rather staple like a traditional comic book...
That aside I have many ideas for stories. Over 10 now in my head. 2 of them are finished being sketched. I have no idea what to do for publishing. I was really wanting my work to be published in a professional books. I've been up all night frustrated about this looking for alternatives =_=; boaaaaaahhh~
Why is sexuality on tv and real porn so 'ok' but erotic art is so 'taboo'?
